Lower Elementary Physical Education

 

Fun is our  goal  for  lower elementary  students.  Pre-kindergarten classes spend  40  minutes/day  participating  in  various  activities,  while  Kindergarten through    3rd graders enjoy physical education classes for 30 minutes/day. Students enjoy activities such as exercising, playing ball games, "Simon Says", singing, hula hooping, and competing in relay races.

 

Upper Elementary Physical Education

 

Upper Elementary students will participate in physical education three days each week.  The philosophy of the physical education curriculum is to provide students with a venue to participate in a structured physical activity, learning the skills and concepts of the activity as well as develop social skills with regard to organized competition.
